  1. maui_1_sea_skinmiteThere is the feeling of something crawling on you but you can't see anything. This is the Hexapod called Collembola or Springtail.
  2. There is pin pricking, which feels like biting, and it feels like you are being eaten. I believe this pin pricking sensation is caused by a genetically crossed fungus/bacteria breaking through the skin. This phenomenon looks pierces of lint, but under a microscope it looks like fibers growing in a specific pattern. This is most likely being spread by the Collembola. One explanation for the attraction may be that the fungus is a gourmet food for the Collembola.
  3. There is a burning itching from the fungus and nothing makes it stop.
  4. It feels like something is lightly brushing against the skin like a feather. I believe this is the fungus spreading in the body through the nerves.
  5. There is a tightening and tingling feeling in an area of activity. I believe this is caused by the fungus spreading internally through nerves under the skin.
  6. Symptoms become more active with the combination of heat and moisture. Both fungus and Collembola flourish in these conditions.
  7. Symptoms become worse while eating or handling food. I believe the fungus is feeding and reacting to blood sugar levels and/or waste products in the system.
  8. The bug is apparently attracted to either the light or electromagnetic energy from the computer or TV.
  9. Both fungus and Collembola seem to use natural fibers as part of their cycle. (IE Clothing, towels, linens, beds etc.)
  10. They also appear to live and possibly breed in paper and are attracted to it.
  11. It appears the fungus comes out of the body, spreads in the environment and then from the environment re-infects the body. This is what makes it nearly impossible to eradicate.
  12. It seems to like clean blood and a chemically unpolluted non-chemically toxic environment. IE healthy people (more females than males or babies and young children). Many people could be in our environment for 3-4 hours with no  symptoms. Those unaffected all were very toxic from cigarettes and unhealthy lifestyles. But there are exceptions because the bug will search out the best host in an environment. For instance, if there is only smokers in an environment, it will target them. A local pest control company told us that in the two other cases of this they had seen only the infants in a house full of residents were being attacked. It also may be related to acid/alkaline balance in the body.
  13. Besides activity in the bed, during the night other symptoms occurred. For instance, during the first rising light of dawn; a crawling sensation was always experienced. Probably caused by Collembola coming to feed on the fungus coming out of the skin.
  14. maui_3_sea_skinmiteThere appears to be different types of what looks like bites on the skin. The ones where we felt the initial prick just looked like mosquito bites and went away overnight with modest treatment. The ones where we did not feel any pin prick looked like a white head festered and did not heal. These both might be coming from the fungus infection inside as opposed to coming from the outer environment. These appeared and became active with heat and moisture and had an intense almost burning intense itching. No amount of even the strongest treatment (prescription Elimite, 5% Pyrethrum creams, enzymes, Internet remedies, straight bleach, tee tree and other essential oils, boric acid, hydrogen peroxide, etc (See list of What Did Not Work in TREATMENTS) seemed to affect these or stop the intense itching. (Until we tried  the non-toxic skin products we discovered (see TREATMENTS: What Works). These "pimple" like bumps would recess into the skin when we managed to dry them up and then re-activate and flare up with heat and moisture, sometimes weeks or months later. They would dry up but a bump would remain under the skin as if they had somehow encysted into the skin. I now believe this is caused by a fungus spread by an insect. This is probably why no bugs show up in scrapings or biopsies.
  15. The Collembola, which can jump, and are supposedly the fastest moving of all life forms hence they seem to disappear into thin air because our vision is too slow to follow them. The insect is quite easy to eliminate with teh fogging product (see Fogging Products under PRODUCTS).  I know a woman that was boiling her clothes and still having problems with them.  It seems that no poisons; pyrethrum, boric acid, or enzymes, or powders affect the  insect eggs or  the fungus spores. The washer and dryer do not affect the eggs either. We tried towels in the dryer at maximum heat for hours and the eggs still hatched! Freezing did not work either.
  16. I know now beyond a doubt that the patented fogging products do kill the eggs. We were greatly helped by a $2,000 commercial steamer we bought, but it did not eradicate the problem. Only the fogging products worked to finally get rid of it in the environment.

skin_mite2_skinmiteAbout Colllembola

As seen with a 40x s microscope the adults are white or flesh color, hairy and have legs and a whip on their underside that allows them to jump farther than fleas. They seemed to mostly inhabit the floor. We are not sure why but they need to be treated as if they are airborne maybe because they are so small if they jump they can be airborne.

They are attracted to computers and TV screens and repelled by strong smells. The adults somehow attracted only to certain people. After years of studying, I now believe that the Collembola spreads a genetically modified fungus disease (something like staph).

I think the fungus on the skin then attracts the Collembola whose natural role in nature is to eat decaying leaves and fungus. This is why multiple symptoms occur. An insect infects you (like a tick infects). This causes a fungus that attracts the Collembola. So this is why there is the feeling of something crawling on you that you can't see but that only tickles. It seems likely the Collembola itself is spreading the fungus and then returns to eat it.

In my case I am not sure if I ever identified the initial parasite that was biting me if there was one. We had scrapings and biopsies that showed nothing. The doctors were not looking for a fungus on the skin so of course did not test for that if there even is a test. I did see what looked like something that had barbs all over them, making it look like they could attach to fine hairs, clothing, and towels. They are so small they appear to be lint even with a 10 x magnifying glass.

If I had not studied closely and compared a few to each other under a microscope (40 x) I would have dismissed them as lint. I saw that they all had the same shape and structure. I was able to kill the Collembola and external fungus by smothering and suffocating them on my skin by using the  SPF 30 sunscreen and Cotz SPF 58 sunscreen. The Cat's Claw tincture was also critical in killing the fungus as well as stopping the itching.
